I think my biggest mistake was not profiting more before the .com bust. In those days, building a website and taking good care of it could have taken me to a whole other level. I'm not complaining about where I am now but I think that when you are in college, it is the perfect the opportunity to set up a business. You have limited financial requirements and a lot of time! Since I was in college, I was scared of having a mortgage and fall under the pressure of debt repayments. However, I had the opportunity to buy it at 125K just before the housing boom in Canada. 3 years later, it worth 175k... while I was living in a small appartment!
