Unfortunately for us, most of our trips to garage sales consist of randomly driving by and seeing a sign. Since we don't usually carry more than a few dollars in cash, we're stuck either having to come back or foregoing the whole thing all together. If you don't carry cash like us, I think your best bet is setting aside a few Saturday mornings a month just for this purpose, or go to group/community garage sales, which have been enormously popular in our area lately.
