This is the dumbest program ever, seriously it is.

A)Has anyone on considered what this practice does to the used car market, the market that poor people rely on? (As supply drops, prices rise, etc. ?) Plus, you are giving incentives to people to save $30 a month in gas for a $180 car payment? WTF...

B)Has anyone considered the value to the environment of saving 5 mpg, vs the environmental costs of destroying and creating a perfectly good vehicle? WTF...

C) What about middle class used auto dealerships? Who will buy a used car when the government will give you a new one for nothing- well the tax payers will. We are propping up Gov and corporation so they can say "C4C was a success". again WTF

D) Where does it stop? Giving away huge discounts on homes to stimulate the housing market, or maybe new more energy efficient appliances to every homeowner who brings in their old model. Auto industry is leaving America just like the textile did we are only prolonging it, it is just cheaper labor over seas.

None of this is making sense...at least not to me? And why are we as tax payers not outraged? I would love to be driving a paid for vehicle over a new car that saves me $30 a month?

Just my 2 cent!
