We got The Force Unleashed midnight Tuesday this past week. I’ve been having a fun time playing it and I hope by Tuesday to have finish the game. If anyone is thinking of getting it, I posted my brief review below this week’s top 10 picks.
I’m not a hardcore Star Wars fan (i.e my husband), but I loved Knights of the Old Republic and Jedi Academy. Give a good story, put some Jedi Force powers, and I’ll try it.
This week had a lot of posts dealing with the economy in the United States due to recent news on some major financial institutions. The posts I picked seem applicable, dealing with savings, money management, do it yourself tips, and employment options. I hope you enjoy them.

The Force Unleashed Review
I’m Darth Vader’s apprentice and I can do anything! Weee, I’m dashing through the air! I see you behind the wall Rodian.
Loved
Storyline and Characters: I really liked the story with the game, particularly how it works with the Star Wars time line. The characters were interesting, I just wished the story was a bit longer. My favorite character is PROXY. He reminds me of a nicer version of HK-47 from Knights of the Old Republic.
I’m not giving away big plot points, but it is worth getting the game. Vader is so evil and it’s fun to watch him do his thing.
Force Powers: I loved, loved, loved it! The effects are very cool and on more than one mission, I stayed in a room until I completely ripped it apart with my powers. My favorite? I’m going with Force Lightening.
The Stormtoopers are reacting how I felt about the Imperial Star Destroyer mission. Pain.
Hated
Glitches: I lost count on some glitches in the game. At the very least, I didn’t get the same glitch twice and in the course of the game, there were infrequent. For example I managed to get embedded into a rock while staring down a rancor. Another problem I have is with the targeting system. The game auto targets and it gets it wrong a few times. I’m battling Vader now and I’m targeting everything but him.
Imperial Star Destroyer: Insane sequence and I probably spent over an hour on this one. I was so happy when this was over which is a shame, since I liked that best from the commercial.
Verdict: I’m glad we have the game and I’ll play it again, as I still do with Knights of the Old Republic (which is still my favorite Star Wars game). It’s a fun game and will keep you busy for a bit.
