I came in to work today and I was immediately taken to the conference room. They decided to honor my resignation and I was to leave today. They would pay me for my last two weeks, but they thought it was ‘best for everyone’ that I leave today. I did not have a chance to say good bye to my co-workers.
I’m glad I already have pretty much everyone’s number, so I will give them a call and keep in touch. I’m curious to see what they plan on my accounts. I was just speaking with one of them Friday about how we were going to catch up on Tuesday.
Good news: more time to blog!

Now is the time to put all these behind you and look ahead. I am sure you’ll find the

@Thanks! I’ve been trying to come up with a plan.
Wow Green Panda,
I thought the only company that did things like that was the one I was with (exactly what they did to me, after I gave my resignation) . I had been with the company for 9 yrs and my “clients” loved me the VA reps would always request me, and new clients were told to ask for me, because I was very knowledgeable and fast accomplishing their requests , I moved up w/pay 4 times all different depts.( this was a huge company. So much for being a “good employee” huh. They made it look like I was fired to co workers. Of course I am “rehireable” yea right. Not it the last dept seems though because my reason for quitting was more of an “integrity” issue because I wouldn’t “skips” the govt guidelines I was asked to do. Ahhhh, that felt good. I wish you the very best, and would advise ANYONE that if your morals, integrity, or sense of self are trying to be crushed get out of there as fast as you can. Because you will do down with them. Oh, forgot to mention they are under investigation at this time for “bad” practices. Have a great day!
Wow, that’s insane. I’m glad that you have peace of mind. I’m still in contact with my co-workers as I really enjoyed their company and work ethic. I’m just working on some of my skills and brushing up for what may come up. Thanks for sharing your story.
