I wonder if anyone has done family loans through Prosper, Virgin Money, etc? Seems it might neutralize some of the inherent problems in loaning to family. But.... Your parents sound sweet and sensible. I've had both good and bad experiences with receiving and giving loans. I think that one has to think twice before handing them out.
