Plonkee, a witty British blogger, is hosting the Carnival of Personal Finance this week. Here are my personal favorites from the carnival. There are so many posts, I’m sure you’ll find something that you’ll love.

• Mrs. Micah: Finance for a Freelance Life asked How Would You Feel if Your Spouse/Partner Broke Your Budget. Being married, this post caught my attention right away. So far, we’re doing ok with this, though, I’m sure what we’d do if this happens. Gues we have something to talk about over dinner tonight. (He reads my blog, so I can put this out there.)
• Realm of Prosperity takes us through The Search For My First Credit Card. It’s been a while since I opened my credit card. I remembering looking to see if it had no annual rate and checking the interest rate, but nothing like this review.
• On Moneymaking shared Stop Planning: 50 Ways to Improve Your Finances Today. I like lists. I can go through them and either check it off, ignore, or learn something new. Some really good tips in there.
• Moolanomy presents 6 Easy Ways To Simplify Your Finance. I truly believe that most people would take care of their finances if it was simple and clear. It takes some time to set it up at first, but the payoff is huge. This posts has a wonderful chart and it’s written well.
• Prime Time Money gives out 10 Things that Bring Success in Personal Finance: #7 Automatic Savings and Bill Payment. This pretty much follows Moolanomy’s idea of simplifying your finances. I liked PT’s perspective on this.
• Being Frugal.net shares How I Taught My Preschooler the Value of a Dollar. I’m not a parent, but this story was a great example of how to pass on good financial habits that I had to include it.
